AMENDMENTS
TO
THE
GREYHOUND
RACING
SA
LIMITED
CONSTITUTION
At
the
Members
General
Meeting
on
RESOLUTION
That
the
Constitution
of
Greyhound
Racing
SA
Limited
be
amended
as
follows:
1.
by
deleting
the
word
“and”
at
the
end
of
clause
2.7;
2.
by
inserting
immediately
after
clause
2.8
the
following
additional
clauses:
“2.9
to
encourage
and
enhance
the
welfare
of
greyhounds;
and
2.10
to
encourage
and
promote
the
protection
and
preservation
of
the
history
of
the
greyhound
industry”
3.
by
deleting
the
words
“Special
Industry
Committee”
where
they
appear
in
clauses
17.2,
17.3,
17.5
and
17.6
and
replacing
them
with
the
words
“Directors’
Selection
Panel”;
and
4.
by
deleting
existing
clause
17.4
and
replacing
it
with
the
following:
“17.4
The
members
of
the
Directors’
Selection
Panel
must
be
appointed
as
follows:
·
three
members
must
be
appointed
by
the
Members
of
the
Company
(at
least
one
of
whom
must
be
a
representative
of
a
Country
Member);
and
·
one
member
must
be
appointed
by
the
Board
provided
that,
for
the
purposes
of
this
clause
17.4:
(a)
a
Country
Member
is
a
Member
other
than
those
Members
specified
in
clauses
12.8
to
12.10
inclusive;
and
(b)
the
appointment
of
a
member
to
the
Directors’
Selection
Panel
will
be
for
a
period
of
12
months
unless
specified
otherwise
at
the
time
of
the
relevant
appointment.”
