Strathalbyn Meeting On Sunday Transferred To Angle Park  

The meeting listed for Strathalbyn this Sunday 2^nd September 2007 will be transferred to Angle Park to allow Sky Channel coverage of the fixture. Sky Channel has offered the timeslot to SA greyhounds as a result of the Equine Influenza situation.  

This meeting features the heats of the Cyrus The Virus Strathalbyn Cup and the Club has decided to run these heats at Angle Park . The distance for the heats will revert to 515 metres, with the Final at Strathalbyn to be run over 536 metres on September 16^th.  

All races on the program will be non-penalty events with Maiden prize money of $550 and other races at $600. Greyhounds which qualified for the meeting over 319 metres and 416 metres will have that qualification held over until the next Strathalbyn meeting.  

This meeting will count as a Strathalbyn run I qualifying for the Heat of the Country Cup at Strathalbyn later in September.  

Nominations have been extended until 12.30pm on Wednesday 29^th August.
