Strathalbyn Meeting On Sunday Transferred To Angle Park

The meeting listed for Strathalbyn this Sunday 2nd September 2007 will be transferred to Angle Park to allow Sky Channel coverage of the fixture. Sky Channel has offered the timeslot to SA greyhounds as a result of the Equine Influenza situation.

This meeting features the heats of the Cyrus The Virus Strathalbyn Cup and the Club has decided to run these heats at Angle Park . The distance for the heats will revert to 515 metres, with the Final at Strathalbyn to be run over 536 metres on September 16th.

All races on the program will be non-penalty events with Maiden prize money of $550 and other races at $600. Greyhounds which qualified for the meeting over 319 metres and 416 metres will have that qualification held over until the next Strathalbyn meeting.

This meeting will count as a Strathalbyn run I qualifying for the Heat of the Country Cup at Strathalbyn later in September.

Nominations have been extended until 12.30pm on Wednesday 29th August.
