ALL GO FOR GAWLER RACING TONIGHT

A further reminder about the change from Angle Park to Gawler tonight.

Tonight’s race meeting is now a Gawler meeting for grading and results purposes, but all races will be penalty free special events. The distances have been changed to the Gawler distances i.e. 531 metres and 643 metres.

Peter Damarell will offer a bookmakers service, which will include a service from both Sandown and Albion Park . The tote will be in operation and the Gawler Club will provide bar and catering. Entrance to tonight’s meeting will be free of charge. Race starting times are as previously advertised for the Angle Park fixture, with the first at 6.43pm .

While it has been raining at Gawler this afternoon, the track is still rated to be safe for racing.

GRSA apologises for the inconvenience this has caused all stakeholders in this situation and has been appreciative of the understanding that has been shown. Also a special thank-you to the Gawler Council and the Gawler Central Sports Club for their support.
