ANGLE PARK MEETING TO BE MOVED DUE TO LURE DAMAGE

The Angle Park meeting scheduled for tomorrow night, Thursday 26th April will be moved to Gawler, due to an incident last night. An act of vandalism has resulted in the lure rail suffering major damage. Due to the extent of the damage, it is expected that it will take at least a couple of days to return it to a usable condition, an issue complicated by today’s Anzac Day holiday.

In order to give reasonable notice to affected parties, it has been decided that the meeting will be shifted to Gawler. All distances for the meeting will revert to Gawler’s distances, i.e. 515m will become 531m; and the 600m events will become 643m races. Race times will remain as previously published.

We will have further information available in the morning.

As we have swapped the Angle Park and Gawler meetings next week, Angle Park is not due to race again until Tuesday afternoon. We are hopeful of having the circuit ready for use by that time.
