GREYHOUND OF THE MONTH – NOVEMBER

Gawler Gold Cup winner, Mini Debonair has been voted as the Greyhound of the Month for November. He received a strong majority from the judges, with Permability the other greyhound to receive first preferences.

A March 2004 whelping, Mini Debonair is still a greyhound on the way up, having had only 19 race starts to date. In those starts he has recorded 9 wins and 3 placings and taken his earnings to just over $20,000. By Token Prince out of Thai Charm, the black dog commenced his career in NSW, winning at Bulli and being placed at Wentworth Park before moving to SA in the middle of 2006.

Mini Debonair has won 4 races at Angle Park for trainer Tania Foster, but it has been at Gawler he has really shined. Leading up to the Gawler Final, Mini Debonair was undefeated on the track, from 4 starts there. He overcame early bother to record a 30.85 victory. His best time at Gawler has been a slick 30.69.

Despite his wins at Angle Park , he hasn’t quite brought that Gawler form to headquarters. But talking with Tania yesterday, that is her next mission with and if he can reproduce that form, a strong performance during the Summer Carnival won’t surprise.

Mini Debonair joins the list of 2006 Monthly winners:
