Strathalbyn Transferred To Angle Park – October 28th

The Strathalbyn meeting listed for this Sunday 28th October has been transferred to Angle Park . The reason for the change is an offer by Sky Channel to cover the meeting as a result of the continuing equine flu problems.

Racing will commence at 12.12pm and the last of 11 races is timed to jump at 3.17pm .

The meeting will be graded as an Angle Park Provincial ( APD ) fixture, with Maiden prizemoney of $550 and other races at $600. Greyhounds which qualified for the meeting over 319 metres and 416 metres will have that qualification held over until the next Strathalbyn meeting in November.

The Club has decided to re-schedule the Heats of the Madam Lash Feature to a later date to be announced.

The Strathalbyn Club will be collecting a $10 nomination fee for all runners on the day.

Patrons going to the track will gain free entry to the track and the Chasers Bistro will be open for sit down meals. There will be tote and bookmaker facilities available also.

GRSA would like to publicly acknowledge the Southern Greyhound Raceway for their support of this change.

Nominations will close with GRSA on Wednesday 24th October at 9.00am .
