2008 SKY CHANNEL ADELAIDE CUP SEMI _FINALS  

The West End Summer Carnival really hots up this Thursday night, with the running of the Semi-Finals of the 2008 Sky Channel Adelaide Cup. There will be no easy passage through for any of the contenders as all four of the Semi-Finals look to have numerous hopes. With just two spots available for the $75,000 Group One final in each race, competition will be very keen. Interesting to note that Proven Alias has been transferred to the local kennels of Troy Murray for the series, giving Troy seven runners in the four races. Racing on Thursday night will also feature the six heats of the John Gray Memorial for Grade Five greyhounds, ensuring a fantastic night of greyhound racing.

The box draw for the 2008 Sky Channel Adelaide Cup Final will take place at the SA Greyhound of the Year Dinner on Saturday Night. We are hopeful that Sky Channel will be able to provide some coverage of it. Anyone requiring tickets can contact GRSA on 8243 7100, they are $60 per head which includes a 3 course meal, beer, wine and soft drinks and entertainment by Cruze Bros.  

Racing commences on Thursday at 6.24pm , with the last of 12 races at 10.15pm .
