2008 Sky Channel Adelaide Cup Heats & Advertiser Interstate Challenge  

The West End Summer Chasing Carnival gets down to serious business on Thursday night, as the Adelaide Cup kicks off. At box draw time today, a total of 50 greyhounds remained entered for the 2008 Sky Channel Adelaide Cup. Significant scratchings were Uno Joel, Pete’s Conquest and One Tree Hill due to injury concerns. The result was the elevation of kennelmates Proven Alias and Run’s House to the Advertiser Interstate Challenge Field. There will be 6 heats of the Sky Channel Adelaide Cup.  

The Eight greyhounds which compete in the Interstate Challenge are automatically seeded through to the Cup Semi-Finals the following week. The field in box order is:
