South Australia is quite keen to even up the ledger somewhat this year, with the current record at 1 – 4 against us.

Jet Pets Animal Transport is a major supporter of the series and will be assisting GRSA with transport of the greyhounds to and from NZ. In particular with the AQIS veterinary requirements.

Christchurch has advised us that the Final will carry prize money of $NZ 27,500 (about $AU24,250) and it will be one of two feature races to be run on the night; the other being the Canterbury Futurity. The meeting at Addington will also be a joint harness meeting.

Local patrons will be able to watch the Final on February 22nd live, as Sky Channel will be carrying coverage of the event from Addington. The race will be run at 6.40pm South Australian time. GRSA thanks Sky Channel for the assistance with the coverage of the nation’s only International race.
