   SA Bred Breeders and Classic Futurity Series

Conditions For 2008 Editions:  

Common Conditions to Each Series  

1. Both Series are for SA Bred Greyhounds only.  

2. All SA Bred Puppies to be included in litter payment. This is only compulsory fee, with other Sustaining payments voluntary,  

3. Litter Registration payment to be $33 per litter. Sustaining payments are to be made on the individual greyhounds, where an ear brand number or name must be nominated.  

4. At any time after litter registration the option of a $110 payment can be made for a greyhound. This will count as the Final payment. It would replace both First & Second Sustaining Payments ($66 saving) or just the Second Sustaining Payment ($44 saving), depending of when payment is made.  

5. All payments or the Final Payment must be made to remain eligible for the series.  

6. The Breeder will receive a share of each win during the series.  

7. To be eligible to start, greyhounds will need to have raced or qualified before the stewards.  

8. Greyhounds will not be required to run in the Preludes to be eligible for the Breeders Plate or SA Bred Classic.  

9. All Payments less GST, made to each Series will be directed to the Futurity Pool. Remaining, funding is to come from Industry Racing Budget. The 2008 Estimate is for total Prize money of $58,200 for each Series.  

10. All Payments listed are inclusive of GST.  

11. The Futurity Series’ is separate to the SA Bred Incentives, SA Bred Maiden Bonus or SA Bred races. Eligibility for these is not affected by status in the Futurity Events.  

12. GRSA reserves the right to amend these conditions at any time.  

Individual Series Conditions & Payment Dates:  

BREEDERS FUTURITY SERIES

Pups born November 2005 to April 2006  

Races:

From January to April/May 2008; exact dates to be determined.

            Includes Two Prelude Series with Heats & Finals

            Culminates in the 2008 Breeders Plate with Heats, Semis & Final

            Prize money levels will be determined after Final Payment.

Payments and Due Dates:

            Litter Registration        - $33.00 per litter; at registration

            First Sustaining           - $22 per greyhound; due Fri. 15^th December 2006

            Second Sustaining      - $44 per greyhound; due Fri. 15^th June 2007

            Final Payment                - $110 per greyhound; due Fri. 14^th December 2007  

CLASSIC FUTURITY SERIES

Pups born May 2006 to October 2006  

Races:

From July to October/November 2008; exact dates to be determined.

            Includes Two Prelude Series with Heats & Finals

            Culminates in the 2008 SA Bred Classic with Heats, Semis & Final

            Prize money levels will be determined after Final Payment.  

Payments and Due Dates:

            Litter Registration        - $33.00 per litter; at registration

            First Sustaining            - $22 per greyhound; due Fri. 15^th June 2007

            Second Sustaining      - $44 per greyhound; due Fri. 14^th December 2007

            Final Payment                - $110 per greyhound; due Fri. 13^th June 2008
